If you purchased W2/1099 after you purchased other CFS programs, the license code you received when you purchased those other programs will not work for W2/1099. You must use the new license code you received when you purchased W2/1099. To update your license code, select "Firm Information..." from the File menu, and enter your new license code in the License Code field. You can obtain your current license code by logging in to your MyCFS account, here.
Reminder: January 31st is the new deadline for filing W-2s with the SSA—whether you use paper forms or e-file. January 31st is also the deadline for filing Form 1099-MISC with the IRS by paper or e-file, if you are reporting nonemployee compensation payments in box 7.
CDs and Form Starter Kits. This year, CDs and Form Starter Kits have been shipped separately: CDs by first-class mail, Starter Kits by standard mail. You will receive a CD containing W2/1099 if you paid for the CD shipping option when you ordered the program. You will receive a Form Starter Kit—an assortment of red forms, envelopes, and blank perforated stock—if you are a first-time purchaser of W2/1099 or if you renewed it by May 31st. Because they were shipped by standard mail, Starter Kits may take up to several weeks to arrive.

Damages or discrepancies must be reported within 14 days of receiving your order. Our supplies return policy covers you for 30 days, but tax forms cannot be returned for refund after December 15th. Refunds do not include shipping charges.
