Privacy Policy

At CFS, our customer privacy and security are our top priority. This document details the types of information we collect when you use our services and software, as well as some of the steps we take to safeguard your privacy and security.

PERSONAL INFORMATION AND OTHER DATA WE COLLECT

CFS collects personal information when you register for a CFS service or otherwise voluntarily provide such information. CFS uses cookies and other technologies to enhance your online experience and to learn about how you use CFS services in order to improve the quality of our services.

CFS's servers automatically record information when you visit our website or use some of our products, including the URL, IP address, browser type and language, versions of Internet browsing technologies (i.e. Flash, Java), Operating System used, and the date and time of your request, along with other technical data.

When you use CFS services, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit our website. These server logs include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser, as well as additional technical information.

When you send email or other communication to CFS, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our services, and may retain this information in other ways required by law.
CFS may present links in a format that enables us to keep track of whether these links have been followed. We use this information to improve the quality of our technology, customized content and services.

This Privacy Policy applies to web sites and services that are owned and operated by CFS. We do not exercise control over the sites displayed as links from within our various software and services. These other sites may place their own cookies or other files on your computer, collect data or solicit personal information from you.

USES

We may use personal information to provide the services you've requested.
We may also use personal information for auditing, research and analysis to operate and improve CFS technologies and services.

If any aggregate end-user information is collected for statistical purposes, it is NOT collected with any user identification or personally identifying information.

We will not ordinarily share any information with third parties, although we may do so in limited circumstances, including when complying with a legal process, preventing fraud or imminent harm, and ensuring the security of our network and services.

CFS processes personal information on our servers in the United States of America.

INFORMATION SECURITY

We take various security measures to protect user data against unauthorized access, unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction. These include internal reviews of our data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, as well as physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems where we store personal data.

Vital customer data is kept in state-of-the-art, secure, monitored data centers to ensure the highest possible level of security and safety. Our systems and processes are audited on a regular basis to ensure we are safeguarding our customers' privacy and security.

We restrict access to personal information to CFS employees who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our services and products. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to discipline, including termination and criminal prosecution, if they fail to meet these obligations.

DATA INTEGRITY

CFS processes personal information only for the purposes for which it was collected and in accordance with this Policy or any applicable service-specific privacy notice. We review our data collection, storage and processing practices to ensure that we only collect, store and process the personal information needed to provide or improve our services. We take reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information we process is accurate, complete, and current, but we depend on our users to update or correct their personal information whenever necessary.

ACCESSING AND UPDATING PERSONAL INFORMATION

When you use CFS software and services, we make good faith efforts to provide you with access to your personal information and either to correct this data if it is inaccurate or to delete such data on your request if it is not otherwise required to be retained by law or for legitimate business purposes. We ask individual users to identify themselves and the information requested to be accessed, corrected or removed before processing such requests, and we may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive or systematic, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical (for instance, requests concerning information residing on backup tapes), or for which access is not otherwise required. In any case where we provide information access and correction, we perform this service free of charge, except if doing so would require a disproportionate effort. Some of our services have different procedures to access, correct or delete users' personal information. We provide the details for these procedures whenever possible.

YOUR CHOICES

We offer you choices when we ask for personal information, whenever reasonably possible. You can find more information about your choices in the privacy notices or FAQs for specific services.
You may decline to provide personal information to us and/or refuse cookies in your browser, although some of our features or services may not function properly as a result.
We make good faith efforts to provide you access to your personal information upon request and to let you correct such data if it is inaccurate and delete it, when reasonably possible.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

Please note that this Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will not reduce your rights under this Policy without your explicit consent, and we expect most such changes will be minor. Regardless, we will post any Policy changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice (including, for certain services, email notification of Policy changes). Each version of this Policy will be identified at the top of the page by its effective date, and we will also keep prior versions of this Privacy Policy in an archive for your review.
