Our Economic Stimulus Rebate Worksheet is online!
As we announced in February's e-news, we recently added an Economic Stimulus Rebate Worksheet to TaxTools 2008. This month we posted a free, online version of the worksheet on our web site. The worksheet will allow you to quickly and accurately calculate the economic stimulus rebate your clients will receive.

Since the 2008 Economic Stimulus Act was announced early this year, many such calculators have appeared on the Internet—some more accurate than others. We have done extensive testing to ensure that ours gives accurate results.

Scannable forms should not be faxed, photocopied, or exported to PDF.
In the past, some users have reported having scannable forms rejected by the IRS or a state agency. We found that many of these rejections were due to the submission of forms that were not directly printed from the CFS program. To ensure that they can be read electronically, scannable forms should not be faxed, photocopied, or exported to PDF files.

Please make sure you only submit scannable forms that have been printed directly from the CFS program.
