Last chance to receive 10% discount on supplies
If you haven't already stocked up for tax season, now is the time! October 31st is the last day to save 10% on all tax forms, tax return folders, envelopes, checks and labels. Click here to order.

Don't forget—you will also receive a 10% discount on our Custom Folders. You specify the size, dimensions, windows and pockets, or you can choose from one of our preconfigured designs. Then, foil-stamp or emboss your firm name. Pricing and ordering information can be found here.

And, if you renew your software by October 31st, we will send you a coupon for 50% off our upcoming TaxTools Webinar (see related article in this newsletter).

Avoid problems with Internet Explorer 7
As you may have heard, Microsoft is releasing the next version of Internet Explorer over the next few weeks. Many of your programs, including those from at least two major tax preparation software developers, will have problems with Internet Explorer 7.

CFS programs will also experience problems with Internet Explorer 7 when attempting to update from the web. Although a CFS update will be released very soon, we recommend that you wait until you are sure your software vendors have made their software compatible. A good choice may be to wait until after tax season to download Internet Explorer 7.

Don't wait to inspect your forms
For those of you who've already ordered supplies, be sure to inspect your order when you receive it. Don't wait until January! You'll want to verify that you didn't forget to order anything, and also that we sent you the items you requested. Occasionally, items can get damaged in transit.

Our return policy covers you for 30 days after you receive your order (but no returns will be accepted after December 15th). Don't wait until it's too late!

TaxTools Webinar—coming soon to a computer near you
This fall, we will begin offering a CFS TaxTools Webinar. Streaming video of an instructor will be available on our website at any time, allowing you to take the online course at your convenience in the comfort of your home or office. To help you follow the instructor, a course outline will also be available for downloading and printing.

The CFS TaxTools Webinar will teach you how to use TaxTools more effectively in dealing with current tax issues. The course is approved by the IRS for one hour of CPE credit for EAs; approval is pending for NASBA/CTEC credit.

The regular price for the webinar will be $29, but place your renewal order by October 31st and you will receive a half-price coupon allowing you to take the course for only $14.50!

IRS Pub: "Employee copies of Form W-2...must be easily separated."
Please remember that IRS Pub 1141, Section 2, Paragraph .05 states, "Employee copies of Form W-2 (Copies B, C, and 2), including those that are printed on a single sheet of paper, must be easily separated."

CFS offers a line of affordable perforated paper in a 2-up, 3-up, or 4-up format. Again, they are 10% off until October 31st.

Starter Kits recently mailed
Recently we mailed Starter Kits of forms to many of our W2/1099 customers. The Starter Kit contains a sampling of 1096 and 1099-MISC copy A's, blank perforated stock and envelopes. The kit was free to customers who renewed their W2/1099 program by May 31st. Kits can be purchased for $39.

If you need larger quantities of forms, please order here (and get your 10% discount before the end of October).
